Park Introduction
Guanlan River Wetland Park is located on the west side of the middle reaches of Guanlan River and the east side of Zhucun section of Guanlan Avenue, with a total area of 97,200 m2, of which the vertical flow artificial wetland area covers an area of 67,800 m2. The wetland park deeply treats 45,000 m3/d of tailwater from Longhua Water Purification Plant. The main indicators of the deep treatment effluent meet the Class III standard of the"Surface Water Environmental Quality Standard" (GB3838-2002), and the water quality of the water experience meets the requirements of the recreational landscape water quality in the"Urban Wastewater Recycling Landscape Water Quality" (GB/T18921-2019). The wetland park and the public green spaces on both sides of the Guanlan River are coordinated and integrated with each other, becoming an ecological functional area integrating deep treatment and viewing, water-friendly, and public leisure activities. While improving the water quality of the river, it provides residents with riverside leisure space. The wetland park project implements the principles of"ecology, environmental protection, energy conservation, and recycling" in the design, construction, operation and management process, and strives to build a garden-style ecological leisure and science education wetland park. After the wetland was built, it has a beautiful environment and fresh air. It has become a place for citizens in the surrounding area to enjoy the scenery and relax. It is also a popular science education base to promote the concept of water protection and love of water to citizens. The public green spaces, ecological corridors, fountains of life and landscape plants built in the wetland park often attract tourists to stop and watch.
