Park Introduction
Maluanshan Country Park is the first country park in Shenzhen approved by the government, featuring hiking, mountaineering, mountain watching and waterfall listening. The park covers an area of 21.73 square kilometers, connected to the Sanzhoutian Reservoir in Yantian District in the west, Kuichong Street in Dapeng New District in the east, and Sanzhoutian Forest Park in the south. The park has rich natural resources, including two waterfall groups, Longtan Waterfall and Lanheqiao Waterfall. Among them, Longtan Waterfall is the largest waterfall group in Shenzhen, with a drop of 50 meters; the highest peak Daguling is 526.9 meters (ranked tenth in Shenzhen). Cultural Activities The park regularly organizes volunteer service activities for environmental protection and handmade trail construction, and designates the first Saturday of December each year as Maluanshan Environmental Protection Day. So far, the theme event of"Maluanshan Environmental Protection Day" has been successfully held for 2 sessions. Since the launch of the Maluan Mountain Environmental Protection Activities in 2020, a total of more than 60 environmental protection volunteer activities have been carried out, with more than a thousand people participating, which has continuously expanded the social influence of the Maluan Mountain Environmental Protection Volunteer Activities. More citizens have taken the initiative to join the ranks of ecological environmental protection. An ecological protection atmosphere has gradually been formed in Maluan Mountain where everyone cares, supports and participates, laying a solid foundation for the continuous promotion of the construction of ecological civilization in Maluan Mountain.
