Park Introduction
Shenzhen Guanlan Forest Park is affiliated to Shenzhen Park Management Center. It spans three districts of Shenzhen, namely Bao'an, Guangming and Longhua, with a total area of 2,115.20 hectares. The Guanlan Forest Park project was approved in March 2008, and the park management line was demarcated in November 2011. The overall plan was approved by the Shenzhen Planning and Land Resources Committee in April 2013. The feasibility study report of the first phase construction project was approved by the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission in July 2014. It was handed over to the Shenzhen Construction and Engineering Bureau for construction in July 2015. In August 2018, the design of the first phase construction project of Guanlan Forest Park was approved by the Shenzhen Forestry Bureau. It is currently in the preliminary design optimization stage of the first phase construction project of the park. At present, the land preparation work for the first phase construction project of Guanlan Forest Park has been started, and it is expected to start construction in early 2020. The next step of the park construction is based on the principles of ecological restoration and protection. By planning to build three main entrances (main scenic spots), the existing original roads within the park will be connected to highlight the characteristics of mountains, forests and wildness, and limited forest recreation will be carried out.
