Park Introduction
Zijin Garden is located at the intersection of Leiyuemen Street and Qianwan 1st Road, around Qianhai International Conference Center. The first phase covers an area of about 26,000 square meters, and the second phase covers an area of about 20,000 square meters. Zijin Garden is an urban park green space with specific historical and commemorative significance in Qianhai. It is positioned as the first exhibition garden in South China to collect, protect and display Bauhinia (Bauhinia) plants, a friendship garden to commemorate the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and a cultural and artistic garden that fits the grand Qianhai International Conference Center. The first phase was completed in June 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, and the second phase was built in July 2020 to cooperate with the major events of the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen and the 10th anniversary of Qianhai. The entire Zijin Garden is designed with Bauhinia as the origin, and implements the construction concept of Qianhai Park City from multiple aspects such as ecological nature and artistic conception.

About 300 trees are planted in the park, including more than 200 Bauhinia plants. In addition to the six species of Bauhinia chinensis, Bauhinia rubra, Bauhinia yunnanensis, Bauhinia jia, and Bauhinia scapulata planted in the first phase of the original Bauhinia Garden, new species have been added, such as Bauhinia chrysantha, Bauhinia serrata, Bauhinia hupehensis, Bauhinia serrata, Bauhinia serrata, Bauhinia serrata, and Bauhinia racemosa. A special park with Bauhinia chinensis as the theme and more than 10 species of Bauhinia plants, including trees, shrubs, and vines, has been created.
