Park Introduction
Central River Estuary Park is located in the central area of Houhai, starting from Anwan 1st Street in the north and ending at the Shenzhen Bay estuary in the south. It has a total area of 45,700 square meters and a length of about 550 meters. It was completed and opened on October 1, 2021. The park is composed of characteristic landscape nodes such as windmill towers, Caojie Theater, Sunshine Beach, and Estuary Park. Landscape trees such as purple bells and flame trees are planted. It incorporates low-carbon concepts and child-friendly park construction concepts, and has set up pergola photovoltaic panels for power generation, windmill wind power generation, solar wireless charging seats and jogging tracks. It has built children's playgrounds, sunny beaches, baby stroller parking spaces, popular science education tips and other child-friendly facilities, and is equipped with rest pergolas, direct drinking water, smart vending machines, free WIFI, smart toilets, smart garden lights and other humanized facilities, creating the country"s first"low-carbon" waterfront public space demonstration site.
