Park Introduction
Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park (hereinafter referred to as'Garden Expo Park') is located in the western section of Zhuzilin, Futian District, Shenzhen City, with an area of about 660,000 square meters. It is a municipal park integrating garden and flower exposition, culture and art, science education, and solar grid-connected power generation. It was officially opened on September 23, 2004. On November 16, 2005, it was rated as a five-star park. On September 12, 2008, it was rated as a"National Key Park" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. On December 8, 2009, it was awarded the title of 'Guangdong Provincial Science Education Base" by the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Association. Historical evolution Garden Expo Park is the venue for the 5th China International Garden and Flower Expo co-organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (formerly the Ministry of Construction) and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor belonged to the Huangniulong green isolation belt. On April 8, 2005, the 5th Garden Expo closed successfully, and the Garden Expo Park was successfully transformed into a municipal park and embarked on the road of sustainable development.
