Park Introduction
Shenzhen Shajing Park is located at the intersection of Haoxiang Road and Jiangjun Road in Shajing Street, covering an area of about 54,000 square meters. It is an open municipal park. Shajing area has been raising oysters with poles since the Song Dynasty. It is the earliest area in the world to raise oysters artificially, so it is known as the"Oyster Town". Shajing Park fully combines the historical and cultural background of the region and has an oyster shell wall with regional characteristics to render the unique ancient charm of the oyster town. There are entertainment and fitness equipment such as wooden man piles and table tennis tables in the park to meet the needs of citizens. At the same time, Shajing Park is also a government-designated outdoor emergency shelter with a design capacity of 3,280 people. In terms of greening configuration, more than 30 different tree species are planted, and the main tree species are mango trees, poinciana trees, banyan trees, wax apple trees, Australian flame trees, yellow bell trees, etc. There are both high-standard large trees and multi-color flower scenes to complement each other. In addition, there is an 800-meter-long sports and fitness track in the park for citizens to use. The track is arranged around the park in a winding manner, which is a beautiful landscape in the park. Shajing Park has about 200,000 visitors per year. In recent years, it has been continuously rated as a"Safe Park" creation standard-compliant unit in Bao'an District. It is an excellent place for citizens to relax, entertain, exercise and keep fit. It also plays a positive role in improving the quality of the city's ecological environment, optimizing the living environment for citizens, and improving the level of urban landscape.
