Park Introduction
Qianhai Stone Park covers an area of about 84,600 square meters, witnessing the vigorous development of Qianhai Free Trade Zone. On December 7, 2012, General Secretary Xi Jinping stood in front of this huge stone and issued a call for reform and opening up. On October 24, 2018, he came here again to declare to the world that China"s reform and opening up will not stop. As the most representative landmark of Qianhai, Qianhai Stone has witnessed important historical moments and carried the spirit of Qianhai. It has become a priceless treasure of the city of Shenzhen. Qianhai Stone Park is not only a memorial place that provides a good environment for citizens to admire Qianhai Stone, but also a leisure park for citizens to listen to the wind and watch the sea. It is backed by the Qianwan District under construction and enjoys a large lawn under the shade of coconut trees. The vertical design of the park has been optimized, highlighting the ups and downs and spatial changes, and adding various pedestrian facilities. Qianhai Stone Park introduces the"sponge city" rain garden module, combined with wetland plants and landscape stones, to achieve a true storage, stagnation and infiltration effect landscape.
