Park Introduction
The large-scale comprehensive leisure park invested and built by the Longgang District Government of Shenzhen is located at No. 31, Changxing South Road, Longcheng Street, the central city of Longgang District. It starts from Changxing South Road in the east, ends at Longtan Road in the west, borders Dezheng Road in the south, and reaches Longfu Road in the north. It is named because it belongs to Longgang and there is a pool of running water in the park, which means that the latent dragon spits water, the running water makes money, and the source is long. The park was built in June 1997 and completed in early September 1998, and then it was upgraded and renovated many times. At present, it covers an area of 180,487 square meters, with a water area of 32,350 square meters and 5 public toilets. Longtan Park has a superior geographical location and beautiful scenery. It inherits the excellent garden tradition of my country. Combined with its own natural geographical conditions, it is mainly based on plant landscaping, forming a subtropical natural scenery and artistic conception that advocates nature, sparkling water, and jade trees, providing a good leisure and entertainment environment for citizens. The park is crowded with visitors every day, who come to enjoy the beautiful scenery, do some fitness exercises, and organize Tai Chi, square dance, playing musical instruments and singing, forming a unique park culture. Longtan Park is the most important leisure and entertainment place for the surrounding citizens. It was rated as a four-star park in December 2007 and a five-star park in December 2015. It is currently the only five-star park in the central city of Longgang.

The overall layout of the park is based on one pavilion (Julong Pavilion), two corridors (Longde Corridor, Longfu Corridor), and three pavilions (Wolong Pavilion, Longteng Pavilion, and Longxiang Pavilion), supplemented by landscapes such as Longquan, Huaxi, Jiuqu Bridge, Fitness Square, and Kite Square. It is a comprehensive park that integrates leisure exercise, culture and art, science education, and tourism exhibitions. There are many kinds of plants in the park, including 109 tree species, 64 shrub species, and 45 ground cover species. Flowering plants such as dragon boat flower, bougainvillea, and Brazilian wild peony are planted, and flowers bloom all year round, with fragrant aromas.
