Park Introduction
Honggang Park is located in Honggang District, Luohu District, Shenzhen. It is adjacent to Qingshuihe Logistics District in the north, Sungang District in the south, Nigang Village in the west, and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway in the east. It consists of two peaks, Dongmaling with an altitude of 64.1 meters and Ximaling with an altitude of 87.2 meters, with a total area of 281,200 square meters. The park has the main entrance of Dongmaling and the secondary entrance of Nanmen, which can be entered from Huancang Road and Nigang Road respectively. The construction scope of Honggang Park is the green connection channel between Yinhu Mountain and Buxin Mountain, and it is also an important node of the regional ecological corridor. This plan connects Yinhu Mountain Country Park, Buxin Mountain Park, Honghu Park, Meilin Park and other systems, with the construction of the green ecological environment protection belt around the northern part of Shenzhen as the general direction, and positions Honggang Park as a municipal park with ecological protection and safety protection as the main functions and leisure and sightseeing as the auxiliary functions.

The park uses methods of combining near and far, staggered and colorful plant landscaping, and has planted more than 5,000 trees such as Podocarpus, Delonix regia, and Kapok, with a green area of 90,000 square meters. It has built a vibrant ecological urban forest in the Qingshui River area, filling the gap of the Qingshui River area for a long time without large green spaces and parks, and creating a green and fragrant mountain in the urban area. At the same time, the park has also built a mountain path, a mountaineering path, a mountaintop leisure square, and a green automatic irrigation system, a safety monitoring system, etc., integrating ecological protection, entertainment and leisure, and sports and fitness, providing citizens with a beautiful leisure activity space and enjoying a harmonious life close to nature. Honggang Park will create a Jacaranda theme park, and the park will plant Jacaranda on a large scale from July 2018.
