Park Introduction
Dameisha Beach Park is one of the ten practical things done by the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for the people in 1999. The park is located on the magical and beautiful coast of the South China Sea, the beautiful Dapeng Bay, and the eastern part of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. After Typhoon Mangkhut, Dameisha Beach Park started reconstruction in 2019, with a total area of about 20.07 hectares, including a beach with a total length of about 1.4 kilometers, a total beach area of 115,830 square meters, and a park green area of 67,022 square meters. Cultural Activities: Undertake the 26th World University Games Beach Volleyball Tournament in 2020; In 2013, the Shenzhen"Dameisha International Kite Festival" with the theme of"Flying with Dreams" was held, which is the largest international kite festival in the Pearl River Delta region to date. From 2005 to 2014, a total of 10 (Dameisha) Beach Music Festivals were held, and artists from six countries including China, the United States, France, Ukraine, South Africa and Australia presented countless wonderful stage performances to Shenzhen citizens. In November 2021, the opening ceremony of the 20th Shenzhen Gold Coast Tourism Festival and the cultural tourism special session of the Yantian District Investment Promotion Conference were held at the Dameisha Water Sports Center. This tourism festival focuses on the"all-region + all-season" development strategy, and has launched 12 major themes and 58 supporting activities to showcase Shenzhen's coastal tourism resources from all angles, achieving"one theme per month, every month is wonderful", and jointly painting a magnificent picture of Yantian"s cultural and tourism industry breaking out of its cocoon and showing its beauty.

The planning and design of Dameisha Seaside Park fully considers the natural landscape advantages of the combination of mountains and sea, Pingshan and the sea. The main line is the green canopy of the sunshine corridor connecting the Fengxin Square and Lianyi Square with coconut trees and colorful flowers and plants. There are 3 aerial bridges and 4 small parks for tourists to enjoy. Among them, the 3 bridges are Fengxin Bridge, Central Bridge, and Shanhai Guanri Pier; the 4 small parks are Ecological Restoration Park, Cultural Relics Park, Core Park, and Guanhai Walking Park. The scenic spots in the park are integrated and interconnected, echoing each other from a distance, forming a beautiful and comfortable seaside tourism environment, and becoming a vivid example of the ecological product value realization mechanism in Yantian District. The famous scenic spot of Dameisha Beach Bathing Beach, 'Meisha Treading Waves', is one of the eight scenic spots in Shenzhen. In addition, the Eternal Stone at Shanhai Guanri Pier, the 7 flying sculptures on the east side of the beach, and the Wish Tower on Fengxin Square are popular check-in points for tourists to visit and take photos.
