Park Introduction
The Science and Technology Park is located at the intersection of Keyuan South Road and Binhai Avenue in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It overlooks Baidu Building to the north and Shenzhen Bay Sports Center to the south. The park covers an area of about 54,500 square meters and is an open municipal park that integrates urban leisure, ecological green space, cultural science and other comprehensive functions. The park is mainly based on plant landscaping, with a reasonable combination of trees, shrubs and grasses to create a natural plant community with a well-organized density and height, as well as a green landscape with flowers in all seasons and distinct seasonal phases. Taking into account the construction of cultural facilities and scenic spots, the facilities are diverse and the attractions are rich. There is the"Green Forest Theater" on the east side, the"Landscape Dry Creek" on the south side, the"West Entrance Square" and"Ecological Parking Lot" on the west side, the"Urban Flower Square" on the north side, and the"Sculpture Square" and"Sea Viewing Platform" on the top of the mountain. The various attractions are connected by park roads. The park effectively utilizes existing natural resources and combines them with ecological environmental protection, fully reflecting the appreciation, suitability and affinity of the park's environmental landscape; it is people-oriented, focusing on the comfort, entertainment and participation of visitors, creating an open leisure and entertainment space; it focuses on construction and creates good ecological and environmental benefits. Through multiple designs, the site characteristics are strengthened, the site"s own landscape elements are explored, and the urban texture and natural texture are harmoniously integrated.
