Park Introduction
Honghualing Park is located in the southeast of Qinglinjing Reservoir, Longcheng Street, Longgang District. It is the former battlefield of Dongjiang Column. It is a patriotic education base with the main purpose of"remembering the martyrs and educating the masses", integrating publicity, education, sightseeing, leisure and other functions. Cultural Activities: Honghualing Park is a park of historical and educational significance. Every year around Qingming Festival,"July 1st", public memorial day, National Day and other special commemorative days, many organizations, schools, enterprises, and veterans will come to the park to commemorate and pay tribute to their ancestors.

The main building of Honghualing Park, the Martyrs ' Monument, was built in 2004. It is engraved with inscriptions and a list of martyrs in the district, including 542 martyrs from the First and Second Civil Revolutionary Wars, the Anti-Japanese War, the Liberation War, the Socialist Revolution and the Socialist Construction Period. A large lawn is built in the center of the park for rest, parent-child sports and other activities. The southeast side of the park is the military exhibition area of the park, where original military facilities such as aircraft, tanks and artillery from the Liberation War are displayed. The west side of the park is an ecological wetland area with a large tract of Baldcypress forest. December is the best time to visit.
